The Self can never be an ‘object’ of knowledge, and yet it is also all objects and experiential phenomena. The Self is not the ‘subject’ who experiences a form of relationship with objects, and yet it is both subject and object. The Self can never ‘know’ itself, and yet it knows nothing else.
